Seems like I finally got around making the long promised raglan hoodie.
As expected, the velvet was a horror to work with. But I'm pleased with the results. Super soft and fluffy and cozy for long winter evenings!

:bulletwhite: white and silver jersey velvet
:bulletblack: pattern drafting + sewing = 2 days, 1 night and a lot of black tea
:bulletwhite: it's not visible on the picture, but I used silver thread for hemming
:bulletblack: delicate wash cycle washable, I hope XD
:bulletwhite: elven-approved ;)

YES, the hood is big enough to hide under it! :eager:

Well, either here on dA, or you could try to google for something like "how to draft patterns for sewing" etc. I don't know if you have any knowledge/experience with sewing and patterns at all, so it's a bit hard to suggest you a good place to look.

ooh. I've never used patterns before... '3' only knowledge I know about sewing is when I made clothes for my toys, like pants, a t-shirt and a sweater... or when I sew up little holes in my clothing, and sew on little patches or making my pants tighter, but in a very lazy way too...

:/ I looked on google, I can't find any on sweater... I'll keep looking tho. :3

Ah, then you probably need to start learning everything from scratch. Have you considered buying ready-made patterns?
