:star::bulletgreen: Simple Hooded Cloak Pattern :bulletgreen::star::heart:

Here are some (hopefully better) pictures of the dark green fleece cloak I've been sewing.

The colour is hard to catch with a camera... It's rather dark when seen from afar, but really the fabric is somewhat olive green. So I added two fabric close-ups left and right. There you can also see how sloppy I was with the sewing. It's just my machine's simple stretch-stitch, no overlock whatsoever...
The closing is just two of those little hooks (male and female?), though I have no idea what they're called...

Anyways, I'm really happy with how the hood turned out! :dummy: :giggle:

Amazing! I'm assuming it hangs the same while you're wearing it, but long is it? (I'm guessing from the mannaquin about knee-length)

Thanks!
Yes, it behaves the same way around human shoulders :D The length very much depends on the person wearing it. For me it's even a bit longer than knee long but I'm really short.

Very beautiful! It looks simple, but the fully closed neckline and gently falling front hemline make it quite unique a garment. Rather fantastic, but I wouldn't mind wearing one of these - well, maybe in a more tolerant place than a tiny town at the end of the world, but anyway. ;P

Oh man, I so desperately want a cloak like this. I saw that you don't have a pattern and aren't selling them...
But I still really want to make one and I'm drawing a blank on how you did it. I can't seem to see the pattern in my mind like I usually can. Can you tell me how you made it?
Also, what kind of fleece did you use?

The pattern for this one is actually quite easy, based on a semicircle. Maybe I should draw it out one day :slow:
I used some really cheap fleece for this one, the cloak was actually meant to be no more than a throw-away-tryout-something but I ended up liking it enough to upload, obviously :D

I think I might be seeing it... so, sort of a semicircle with rounded corners, with a bit cut out of the centre for the hood? Oh, I have to make this...
I would love if you drew it out though, this cloak would be perfect to wear out, not as fanciful as my full length cloaks that look too costume-ish for everyday.
This certainly doesn't look like a throw-away thing, it looks very good! <3

Yes, exactly like that! Nothing fancy at all, pattern-wise :D
I'll see if I get around drawing it.
Thank you! =)
